Ambassador - College of Human Sciences and Education
As an ambassador for the College of Human Sciences and Education (HSE), my main job is to represent the college and my department, Apparel, Retail Merchandising and Design. To do this, I am a representative at Discover Days, an event that invites high school juniors and seniors to tour NDSU and get an overview of student life and class expectations and projects. By doing this, I am able to connect with new students and grant them information about my major. HSE Ambassadors also organize various other events during the school year such as NDSU Giving Day, faculty lunches, meetings with the Dean of our college, and student activities. Social Media Manager - Department of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management
I am a student representative for the Department of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management. On this committee, I am responsible for aiding in promotional materials decisions, ideas to encourage prospective students, website designs, and department event planning. Additionally, I serve as the Social Media Manager for the Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management department. This job requires me to contact various faculty, students and alumni for student information. With this information, I build social media posts and plan content to post on various social media platforms, such as Facebook. The purpose of this position is to increase prospective student numbers and grow our college's credibility and popularity.
